Acting on intelligence regarding suspected smuggling activities, police searched a shop and found various types of fireworks and cigarettes suspected of having been smuggled. Hundreds of packages of fireworks and cigarettes were seized. The 46-year-old male shop owner was arrested on suspicion of several offences related to smuggling, trading and storing contraband goods, concealment of income and tax evasion.
