Police found and seized a pistol during a search of a vehicle stopped on a bypass road as part of an operation against unlicensed firearm possession. The 19-year-old man driving the vehicle was arrested, and a 28-year-old man travelling as a passenger was also arrested because he knew that the driver was carrying the firearm and intended to sell it.
