News Source News Source News SourceA 38-year-old police inspector was shot and killed with a "Crvena Zastava" pistol, cal. 7.65mm in illegal possession by a man in front of a nightclub. After killing the inspector, the man pointed the pistol in the direction of a suspended police officer, who was in the victim's company, but the pistol misfired. The perpetrator fled the scene and discarded the pistol, and the other three men discarded a "Njalter" pistol, cal. 7.65 mm, with a magazine and seven bullets, a "Crvena Zastava" pistol, cal. 9 mm, with a magazine and eight bullets; and a "Crvena Zastava" pistol, cal. 7.62 mm, with nine bullets, all in illegal possession. The motive of the shooting is unknown, but according to the evidence, it was planned. The perpetrator is a son of a Parliament member and has a criminal background. The police arrested the perpetrator and three men who helped him during and after the incident.
