A 31-year-old man deliberately fired four shots from a shortened M48 military carbine at a vehicle driven by a man with whom he had a prior conflict. The victim was not shot. Police arrested the suspect the same day and seized the illegally held firearm and ammunition. The suspect was placed in custody on suspicion of attempted homicide and unlawful possession of weapons.
