At a toll station, police arrested two men, both aged 41, with one of them being a police officer,  after seizing a large quantity of pyrotechnic materials from a cargo vehicle during a roadside inspection. The items were transported without documentation and were stated to belong to a Skopje-based legal entity. Based on information obtained during this seizure, police carried out follow-up actions, locating an abandoned truck loaded with pyrotechnics and conducting a court-ordered search of the company’s warehouses, where more than 25 tons of pyrotechnic materials were seized. The case is being investigated as an illegal trade in hazardous materials.
