Following intelligence reports, authorities successfully conducted an operation codenamed “Duo” to address illegal firearm possession and prevent serious criminal incidents. A search of the residence of a man, aged 49, and his 21-year-old son led to the seizure of an automatic firearm with a round chambered, a magazine with ammunition, approximately 200 shell casings, and a cold weapon. Both men, the father with a prior record for illegal firearm possession, were arrested at the scene.
