A 34-year-old woman was shot and killed with a firearm in front of her home by her former intimate partner, a 52-year-old police officer, who had been suspended from duty due to an imposed restraining order for domestic violence. The perpetrator's dead body was found a day later. It is suspected that the perpetrator committed suicide.
