A 30-year-old man was shot and killed by his former friend, aged 30, outside of a supermarket. The on-duty police officers wearing civilian clothes responded to the incident and ordered the perpetrator to stop. The perpetrators disobeyed and aimed the firearm at police officers. In self-defence, one of the police officers discharged his service weapon and injured the perpetrator in the hand. The perpetrator received medical treatment and was arrested. Two pistols and seven shell casings were found and seized by the police at the crime scene.
