A 40-year-old man received medical treatment after accidentally shooting his leg with a firearm in his apartment. After shooting himself, he shot the firearm inside the house to make it appear as if it were a murder attempt by another person. A rifle, which he had in illegal possession, was found and seized during the search of his house.
