Police found and seized a TT pistol and a magazine loaded with eight cartridges from the waistband of a 25-year-old man during a search at a checkpoint on a road. The man was a passenger in a vehicle. He was arrested and sent to 48-hour detention, while the firearm and ammunition were kept as material evidence.
