Law enforcement agencies announced the detention of a criminal group specialized in smuggling cars from Europe into the Republic of Moldova. Around 20 searches were carried out at the homes of six suspects. The operation led to the seizure of funds linked to criminal activities, documentation on the origins of the vehicles, 51 temporary vehicle registration documents, drugs identified as cocaine, a handgun, and two pieces of plastic explosives, which were concealed in a stove at the residence of one of the suspects."
