A modified M-48 rifle, known as a “cut-down” variant (“podrezak”), was seized from a suspect detained on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of unauthorised production and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials. The suspect was found in possession of the altered firearm while under the influence of alcohol.
