During Operation “TRIDENT-2026,” border police and the local police officers stopped a vehicle and discovered an illegally possessed rifle in the trunk. Officers also seized a night-vision scope mounted on the weapon, 18 cartridges, a spent casing, a magazine, and a suspected sound suppressor. The seized items were sent for expertise, and the 38-year-old man is under investigation.
