A rifle in illegal possession, along with 23 rounds of assorted ammunition, was discovered by police during a vehicle check. The 41-year-old driver was taken in for questioning, after which the prosecutor determined that his actions constituted illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials. A criminal complaint was filed regarding the firearm, and a misdemeanor charge was submitted for the ammunition.
