The police arrested a 68-year-old man, a former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for issuing approvals for the acquisition of weapons for three persons, two of whom are known to the police for organized crime. Following the investigation, a "CZ SHADOW2" semi-automatic short-barreled weapon, cal. 9 mm, a "GLOCK 43X" semi-automatic short-barreled weapon, cal. 9 mm, a "CZ BREN2MS" long firearm, a "BROWING BAR" hunting and sport long weapon, a "BENELLI RAFFAELLO" hunting and sport semi-automatic and a "ZASTAVA ARMS M-75" long firearm for single fire with smoothbore, were found and seized from a 40-year-old person. A "BERETTA A400 XTREME UNICO" rifle was found and seized from a 55-year-old person. Appropriate measures were taken.
