In a court-ordered operation, members of the border police conducted a search of two houses and auxiliary buildings used by a man suspected of illegal possession of firearms. During the search, officers discovered and temporarily seized a semi-automatic rifle, a hunting rifle, a starter pistol with a magazine, three magazines for an automatic rifle, and 38 rounds of various types and calibers of ammunition. The individual in question did not possess the necessary legal documentation for any of the seized weapons or ammunition.
