Two men reported to police that they encountered three unknown suspects illegally cutting wood on their mountain property. One suspect, armed with an AK-47 automatic rifle, allegedly fired several shots to intimidate them, and a physical confrontation ensued before the suspects fled. Police recovered and seized 12 shell casings at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
