A two-year-old girl was shot and killed with a firearm by her 34-year-old father, who then died by suicide using the same weapon. Prior to the incident, the perpetrator came to his common-law partner, argued with her, physically assaulted her, and then left in an unknown direction with their two-year-old daughter. Their bodies were found by the perpetrator's father.
