A man was arrested at a police checkpoint for illegal possession of a pistol and 7 cartridges, found and seized after the perpetrator tried to hide following a pursuit the police made after he did not obey their order to stop his vehicle. After interrogation, the man was released, and the case will be processed in line with the regular procedure.
