Police seized 22 military rifles, two hunting rifles, a pistol, approximately 1,900 rounds of ammunition, 46 grenades, three mines, 12 rifle grenades, a hand-held mortar and additional weapons and equipment during searches at ten locations. Six persons were arrested in connection with an illegal weapons trafficking network. According to police, part of the seized weapons had been intended for transport outside the area.
