UNDP SEESAC and RACVIAC - Center for Security Cooperation Extend their Years-long Collaboration
On 14 February 2013 Ambassador Branimir Mandic, Director of RACVIAC – Center for Security Cooperation and Dr. Ivan Zverzhanovski SEESAC Coordinator signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations, reconfirming their years-long partnership. RACVIAC and SEESAC signed the first such document in 2003.
These two organizations form the cornerstone of security cooperation in South East Europe, functioning within the framework of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). Collaboration and exchange of knowledge on issues pertaining to arms control and security sector reform between these regional initiatives has been ongoing and has helped both execute their work more efficiently and effectively. Both Ambassador Mandic and Dr. Zverzhanovski expressed their commitment to the continuation and strengthening of this partnership in the years to come.
