The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia publishes its 2014 Report on Arms Exports

The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia’s published its Annual Report on Arms Exports for 2014 with SEESAC’s support. The 9th Report is jointly produced by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Interior and Economy, and it covers the period of 1 January – 31 December 2014.

The Report provides an outline of national laws regulating the trade in conventional weapons, small arms and light weapons, and dual-use goods, followed by an overview of the country’s involvement in international agreements dealing with conventional weapons, Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and non-proliferation. A section of the report is dedicated to developments from the previous year, such are trainings and conferences attended by country’s representatives in 2014, while another section provided updates related to the military and dual-use lists.  

The Report’s annexes provide detailed information on the donations made by the Ministry of Defence, as well as exports of military list and dual-use items.  

The Annual Report on Export Control for 2014 is available in Macedonian and English languages on SEESAC’s section of the website for National and Regional Reports on Arms Exports.
