SEESAC's Team Leader Discusses Arms Control in Serbia's Daily 'Blic'
Diman Dimov, SEESAC Team Leader discussed SEESAC’s work on arms control in an interview for the Sunday edition of Serbia’s daily “Blic.” The collection and destruction of small arms and light weapons in the countries of South Eastern Europe is one of the integral parts of SEESAC’s work.
These SEESAC activities have been supported by the European Union since 11 March 2010, when the EU Council passed the Decision 2010/179/CFSP to support SEESAC arms control activities in the Western Balkans, in the framework of the EU Strategy to combat the illicit accumulation and trafficking of SALW and their ammunition. SEESAC activities are also made possible through the generous support of the Norwegian government.
