SEESAC at the Regional Meeting of SEE Ministers (Comprehensive Regional Defence Ministerial – CRM) in Dubrovnik 21-22 October 2015

The Comprehensive regional ministerial includes meetings of defense ministers and high level defense policy officials of South East Europe contributing to the following three regional initiatives: the US-Adriatic Charter (A-5), the Forum of Ministers of Defense of countries of South East Europe (SEDM South East Defence Ministerial Initiative) and Political Director for Defense Policy of the Western Balkans (WBDPD Western Balkans Defence Policy Directors).
During two days, the Ministers and senior defense policy officials will discuss regional security and defense cooperation, as well as current challenges and threats. The aim of the meeting is to strengthen regional cooperation in the field of defense in joint projects on current topics in the field of security. The CRM is one of the most important events and defense cooperation in South East Europe.
During the meeting, SEESAC will have meetings with several delegations and discuss our cooperation with the Ministries of Defence of the region within the auspices of the projects Gender Equality in the Military (WinMil) and EU Support of SEESAC Disarmament and Arms Control Activities in South East Europe (EUSAC), as well as other bilateral initiatives.
This is the third comprehensive meeting of defense ministers. The first was held in Slovenia in 2013 and last in 2014 was hosted by Montenegro.
