FYR Macedonia Publishes its Annual Arms Export Report for 2012
Within the second phase of the Support for an Arms Control Programme in the Western Balkans project, UNDP/SEESAC supported the publication of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia’s Annual Report on Arms Exports for 2012. The Report is a result of a joint endeavor by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Interior and Economy and covers the period from 1 January through 31 December 2012.
The Report contains an outline of relevant national legislation in the field of international transfers of military and dual-use goods, as well as the review of various international agreements that the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is a signatory to.
In addition, the Report contains the list of trainings and conferences attended by the country representatives in 2012, directly or indirectly linked to the implementation of the Council Common Position 2008/944/CFSP, as well as the list of SALW exports and the dual-use licenses granted by the Ministry of Economy in the calendar year of 2012.
The Annual Report on Export Control for 2012 is available in Macedonian and English languages on the SEESAC website.
The publication of the report was made possible through the generous financial assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
