Albania Publishes its 5th Annual Report on Arms Exports

The Albanian State Export Control Authority (AKSHE) produced Albania’s fifth Annual Report on Export Control. The report, covering year 2012, outlines Albanian national legislation regarding the export control of military and dual use goods, as well as the description of the licensing procedures for those goods. Further on, there is an overview of the international agreements of arms exports control, as well as international commitments that Albania is aligned with, together with the international cooperation and cooperation with industry by the Albanian authorities.

 

The report also contains details on the type, amount and value of goods exported and imported by the Republic of Albania, as well as the countries of destination, origin and transit, military list categories they fall under and the number of licenses issued for each of them. Finally, there is a list of private and state entities registered and equipped with registration certificate.

 

The Albanian Annual Report on Export Control for 2012 is available in English and Albanian.
