Welcome to the second edition of the Small Arms and Light Weapons
Awareness Support Pack. SASP 2 (2005) has been developed jointly by SEESAC
(the South Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms
and Light Weapons), and a wide range of stakeholders working on small
arms problems in South Eastern Europe. |

SASP 2 is for
use by anyone preparing to develop or take part in SALW Awareness
work, whether they are members of civil society, national SALW Authorities,
international organisations, donors, or security/peace-keeping forces.
It consists of a Handbook that sets out the principles and procedures
for carrying out safe and effective SALW Awareness campaigns, and
a CD-ROM containing supporting materials.
