National Arms Laws

In order to harmonize efforts of regional governments in advancing SALW related legislative and regulatory measures and provide all regional SALW stakeholders with an easyreference guide for SALW legislation, SEESAC has compiled the South Eastern Europe Arms Law Compendium.

The South Eastern Europe Regional Arms Law Compendium includes over 1,000 pages of existing (and several draft) areas of legislation on SALW from: Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia, Romania, Moldova and Serbia and Montenegro.

It is as up to date and accurate as possible, although SEESAC recognizes that the Compendium may not have a complete overview of draft legislation that governments are currently developing. The Compendium is limited by the contributions received from governments, international organizations and nongovernmental organizations that have contributed to this publication.

The Compendium is a continually changing reference for stakeholders to monitor regional legislative changes, and the most up to date legislation will be posted on the SEESAC website.
