Bosnia and Herzegovina: SALW Storage Upgrade Activities
SEESAC’s storage upgrade activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina focus on improving the safety and security of three weapons and ammunition storage sites by providing technical and infrastructure assistance to the Ministry of Defence of BiH and in collaboration with the UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Following a thorough assessment, storage sites that require upgrades have been identified and agreed with the Ministry of Defence of BiH. Those are Kula I, II, (Mrkonjic Grad); Gabela, (Capljina); and Krupa, (Hadzici). The assessment of the storage sites has been finalized and submitted for review.
The assessment studies of the storage upgrade needs in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole and of the individual locations are available here.
