Dr. Ivan Zverzhanovski - Team Leader a.i.
Ivan Zverzhanovski joined SEESAC in May 2009 having previously worked as Research Fellow at the Institute for Comparative Law (Belgrade) and as Lecturer in War Studies at King's College London. He holds a PhD in War Studies and an MA International Peace and Security from King's College London. He specialised in security sector reform and transitional justice issues as well as the role of the media in conflict.
Bojana Balon - Project Officer and WPON Project Manager
Bojana Balon holds Masters Degree in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from University in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has worked for the Ministry of Interior in Ljubljana and the OSCE Mission to Serbia prior to joining UNDP in Serbia working on gender issues, as of 2008 in the capacity of a Gender Advisor. She has joined SEESAC in July 2010 as Project Officer, working mostly on the implementation of the Support to gender mainstreaming in policing practices in South East Europe project.
Iva Savic - Programme Communications Officer
Prior to joining the SEESAC team, Ms. Savic worked at Freedom House and Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, as well as for the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia. Her work has mainly focused on human security and democracy development in Russia and the Balkans. Iva recently earned a Masters degree in International Security Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). She also holds Bachelor degrees in International Relations and International Area Studies of Russia and Eastern Europe.
Tamara Svircev - Programme Associate
Tamara Svircev joined the SEESAC team in February 2005 as Programme Associate and is primarily responsible for financial administration and planning. She also provides assistance and advice to SALW stakeholders on the financial preparation, formulation and monitoring of SALW activities and projects.
Prior experience includes working for UNDP Serbia and Montenegro - Beautiful Serbia Project, as well as other International Organizations and NGOs. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Belgrade.
Danijela Djuric - Administrative/ Communication Assistant
Danijela Djuric joined the SEESAC team in November 2006 as Administrative Assistant. She has extensive experience in administration and finance related work acquired working with various international organizations. For several years she worked as Office Manager with BearingPoint, USAID implementing partner on the Tax Reform Project in Serbia, and just before joining our team as Assistant/Translator on UNOPS City-to-City Programme,Decentralized Cooperation Programme funded by Italian government, managed by UNDP, implemented by UNOPS. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Italian Language and Literature, obtained at the Faculty of Philology, Belgrade University.
Branka Bozic – Programme Assistant
Branka Bozic joined the SEESAC team in January 2010. She obtained administration and finance related work experience while working on for the European Agency for Reconstruction on EU founded projects in Serbia. She was previously Office Manager for the Support to the Modernisation of the Treasury System project. Prior to that she worked as Office Manager/Administrator with the Project for Development of Health Information System for Basic Health and Pharmaceutical Services in Serbia. She holds a Bachelor degree in business management, obtained at the Megatrend Faculty, Belgrade.
Ivana Radosavljevic - Programme Assistant
Ivana Radosavljevic holds a Master Degree from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Belgrade, where she specialized in public administration and local government. The focus of her MA thesis was Reform of Human Resources Management in Public Administration. Ivana also holds Bachelor Degrees in Chinese language and literature obtained at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, and a Bachelor Degree in economics from the Megatrend University, Belgrade. Ivana joined the SEESAC team in September 2010 and is currently working as a Programme Assistant.
Aleksandra Dobric - Interpreter
Aleksandra Dobric has been working with SEESAC as a technical translator since April 2004. She deals mostly with written translation of SEESAC documents, such as RMDS/G standards, SOP procedures, programme strategies, media studies, reports, SALW surveys etc. When necessary, she provides oral interpretation at relevant occasions.
Her education background is B.A. of English and Italian, obtained at the Faculty of Philology, Belgrade University. She is also a Sworn Court Interpreter for the English and Italian language. Before joining SEESAC, she worked as a translator for several international organizations/NGOs, and has an extensive experience in public administration/international relations (gained from serving with a governmental institution).
Jelena Radakovic – Communications Assistant
Jelena Radakovic holds a Master Degree in International Conflict Analysis from University of Kent where she focused on the role of private business sector in post-conflict development. She also holds a Bachelor Degree in International Affairs and Politics from Vesalius College, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. Prior to joining the SEESAC team in January 2012 as a Communication Assistant, Jelena worked at Nicholas Phillips Associates and European Hockey Federation in Brussels and European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.
Dusko Djuricic –Driver/Clerk
Dusko Djuricic joined the SEESAC team in May 2002 as a driver. Dusko has years-long experience in helping prepare and organize trips. Prior to SEESAC, he worked for OXFAM GB assisting with logistics for emergency programs.
