In 2025 we wished for a #SaferRegion and to make it happen, we supported the destruction of over 3,400 small arms and light weapons, facilitated 11 regional processes, organized events with over 1400 participants, trained more than 500 police officers, prosecutors, journalists and civil society representatives through 40+ trainings and workshops, we engaged with 18 women’s organizations, published 10+ knowledge products, donated over 2 million USD in specialized equipment, working closely with 8 jurisdictions in Southeast and East Europe.
To mark the progress achieved in 2025, SEESAC has launched 2025 in Pictures, a visual feature story capturing key milestones, partnerships, and moments, through a number of photographs.
The 2025 feature follows Securing Futures, SEESAC’s 2024 year in review, which showcased advances in arms control and security sector reform across the Western Balkans, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine.
