SEE Arms Law Compendium Now Available Online

SEESAC just launched South East Europe Arms Law Compendium as part of its efforts to support the harmonization of arms control and export legislation in South East Europe.

The Compendium is an online tool for countries in the region and wider, to be used as an easy- reference guide, as they are developing their national SALW legislation. It is compiled with contributions from each national Commission for Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) and other national authorities and is now public, easily accessible and available on SEESAC’s website in original language and English. The Compendium is a continually changing and evolving reference guide for stakeholders to monitor regional legislative changes. SEESAC will be regularly posting the latest legislation on our website, along with the translated versions.

The Compendium is part of the regional activities implemented by SEESAC under the EU Council Decision 2013/730/CFSP of 9 December 2013 “in support of SEESAC disarmament and arms control activities in South East Europe in the framework of the EU Strategy to Combat the Illicit Accumulation and Trafficking of SALW and their Ammunition
